Queen Elizabeth the First
I was the daughter of King Henry the Eighth and Queen Anne Boleyn. I was Queen of England for 45 years. People call it the Elizabethan Age. It was a time of great achievement. Our sailors went around the world and discovered many things. The country became rich. The Elizabethan Age was famous for writers and musicians. I had many enemies. The King of Spain sent his Armada of ships to invade England, but my sailors defeated them. Some people in England plotted to kill me, but they were all caught and executed.
