Milk teeth and Adulth teeth

How many teeth

Human beings grow two sets of teeth. The first set is called the baby teeth, or milk teeth. The teeth start growing before the baby is born, but they cut through the gums at about 6 months old. Chilren have 20 baby teeth by the time they are two years old. There are 8 incisors (4 on the top, 4 on the bottom) 2 canines, 4 premolars, and 6 molars.

We have 32 adult teeth. We begin to loose our baby teeth when we are about 4 or 5 years old. By the time we are 18 we usually have all of our teeth. Your adult teeth have 8 incisors (4 in the top and 4 in the bottom), 4 canines, 8 premolars, and 12 molars.
